Family Vacation

This last week we took a little family vacation to Nauvoo. It was great to get away for a little while and spend some time together. Ben was a trooper on the 6 hour car ride. We camped at the Nauvoo State Park which was beautiful. Ben did a good job with the camping and the weather was perfect.

The highlight of the trip was definitely the temple. It is such a beautiful temple with an amazing spirit.

We also enjoyed all the historic buildings and learning more about the pioneers who sacrificed so much. Ben was less impressed with the historic buildings and tours and had more fun looking for bugs and animals and pointing out every truck that drove by.

Ben did love playing at the "Pioneer Pastimes" play area. He made sure to tuck all the dolls into bed.

He also enjoyed his first ice cream cone.
