Dirt, Bugs, Sticks and Rocks . . .

Add some melted Popsicle and that's what is all over my little boys at the end of each day and I love it. Summer means embracing all the messiness and just having fun playing and exploring outside. I love that these two little explorers get me outdoors a LOT.
Every ant receives a "Wow! Cool bug!" and every stick becomes a sword. According to Caleb every flower must be smelled and touched and, when possible,  picked. While Ben has started collecting leaves, sticks, rocks, dirt, and grass which mom had better not disturb.
Our new bird feeder in the backyard brings in a multitude of birds and also a fun little chipmunk (or as Ben says, "chip-monkey"). Playgrounds, parks, pools. There is so much to do in the summertime.
This boy LOVES dirt and mud

Caleb loved his first time at the pool. Even after Ben tackled him into the water!

Ben would live at the pool if we let him

Playing with the neighborhood boys

Yes, we see you picking that flower!

I'm so glad you can enjoy the boys and all their boyishness brings. Gotta love watching them learn about this great world we live in.
