Put Down that iPad and PLAY!

Operation "Get These Kids Out of the House" is now under way and I have to admit, it's been a blast. We went canoeing for family home evening, went to the children's museum here in town, went to the observatory with Cameron to see the moon and Jupiter and Mars. And played outside a whole lot. We wrote the alphabet in giant letters all the way down the sidewalk and then had fun racing each other to the different letters. We blew bubbles and planted the garden. Ben rode his bike and is definitely getting close to ready for a big boy bike.
Hooray for spring/summer and nice warm weather.
Ben and Caleb with their best buddies Joshua and Baby Luke

The boys were so exhausted by the time we finished looking at stars that they just sat together on this chair while we put things away.
Ben LOVED helping dad paddle the canoe.

Flying the awesome kite from Grandpa Briscoe

We took the side off Caleb's crib. He's pretty excited that he can get out of bed whenever he wants!

"Take a picture of me with this big stick and my big muscles."

Canoeing is so fun. I think we'll be heading out to the lake a lot this summer.

Caleb's "I've been caught face"

Ben throwing rocks in the water with a dirty bum. :)

Playing outside all day sure makes for some tired boys

They're so cute when they sleep!
