We had a nice little snowstorm the other day that dropped three inches of wet snow everywhere. The next day, I pulled out all the snow gear and we headed out for a little fun in the snow. Ben was so excited about his snowman and especially about the carrot nose.
Caleb didn't mind the snow until he tried to crawl in it which resulted in his little hand coming out of the snowsuit and into the snow. He would have been okay but he was so shocked that he lifted his hand up quickly which resulted in a face plant into the snow. That did not go over well at all!

Epilogue: An hour after we came inside, Mr. Snowman fell over due to the warming temperatures. Ben cried for about 20 minutes. It took many repetitions of "Once There Was a Snowman" before he understood that snowmen just melt. Loosing your first snowman is apparently a very tragic experience.
